Overview

Product prices displayed on Puvitox.com may not include customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges imposed by your destination country unless clearly stated at checkout.

These charges are determined by local customs authorities, tax authorities, carriers, or import service providers. They are not controlled by Puvitox.

Customers are responsible for checking local import rules, tax policies, and customs requirements before placing an order.

Product Prices

Prices shown on Puvitox.com are product prices unless otherwise stated.

Product prices may not include destination-country customs duties, VAT, import taxes, local handling fees, brokerage charges, customs processing fees, or similar charges.

Prices, discounts, free shipping offers, bundles, promotions, and shipping terms may change without prior notice.

Important: If taxes, duties, or import fees are not clearly collected at checkout, they may be collected later by your local customs authority, carrier, postal service, or delivery provider.

Sales Tax

Depending on your shipping location and applicable laws, sales tax may be calculated and charged at checkout.

If sales tax is charged at checkout, it will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

The availability and calculation of sales tax may depend on your destination, payment method, store settings, tax rules, and applicable marketplace or platform requirements.

Customs Duties and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, or other charges required by the destination country.

These charges may be calculated based on product type, declared value, shipping destination, local tax rules, import category, and customs procedures.

Unless otherwise clearly stated at checkout, customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, import fees, or related charges required by their destination country.

Common Charges You May See

Depending on your country or region, you may see one or more of the following charges before delivery:

Charge Type What It Means Who Determines It
Customs Duty A charge applied to imported goods based on local customs rules and product classification. Destination-country customs authority.
VAT / GST / Sales Tax A local tax that may apply to imported products or retail purchases. Local tax authority, customs authority, or checkout tax system.
Brokerage Fee A service fee that may be charged for customs clearance or import processing. Carrier, courier, customs broker, or delivery provider.
Handling Fee A local processing or delivery-related fee charged during import or final delivery. Carrier, postal service, courier, or local delivery provider.
Storage or Redelivery Fee A fee that may apply if a package is held, not collected, or requires another delivery attempt. Carrier, local post office, courier, or delivery provider.
Note: Not every order will have these charges. Whether charges apply depends on your country, local import threshold, order value, product type, and carrier process.

Customs Clearance

Customs clearance is the process used by local authorities to review imported packages, confirm documentation, assess duties or taxes, and release goods for final delivery.

Customs clearance procedures may cause delivery delays. These delays are outside our direct control.

Puvitox is not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, local tax assessments, import restrictions, customs documentation reviews, customs processing delays, or customer failure to pay required customs charges.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for understanding and complying with the import rules of their destination country or region.

This includes responsibility for:

  • Checking whether the product can be imported into your country or region.
  • Paying applicable customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or handling fees where required.
  • Providing information requested by customs, carriers, or delivery providers.
  • Responding to customs or carrier notices in a timely manner.
  • Collecting the package if local pickup or customs payment is required.

Refusal to Pay Duties or Taxes

If a package is refused, abandoned, returned, or destroyed because the customer refuses to pay applicable duties, taxes, import fees, brokerage fees, or handling fees, the customer may not be eligible for a full refund.

Any refund, if approved, may be reduced by original shipping fees, return shipping costs, customs fees, carrier charges, payment processing costs, and other non-refundable costs incurred.

If the package cannot be returned to us or is destroyed by customs or the carrier, a refund may not be available.

Returned Packages Due to Customs Issues

A package may be returned due to unpaid import charges, incomplete customs information, local import restrictions, failed delivery, refusal of delivery, or failure to collect the package.

If a package is returned to sender, we may contact you after the package status is confirmed. Depending on the case, additional shipping fees, return fees, customs charges, or reshipping costs may apply.

Refunds for returned packages are reviewed based on the returned condition, shipping costs, customs costs, carrier charges, and whether the package is successfully received back.

Import Restrictions

Some products may be restricted or unavailable for delivery to certain countries or regions due to shipping limitations, customs rules, carrier policies, or local regulations.

Puvitox cannot guarantee that every product can be imported into every country or region.

If we determine that an order cannot be shipped to the provided destination, we may cancel the order and issue an appropriate refund for the unavailable order.

Customs Documentation

We may provide standard order and shipping information required for delivery and customs clearance.

We cannot modify customs documents in a misleading way, declare inaccurate values, mark orders incorrectly, or provide false product descriptions to avoid duties or taxes.

Customs documentation may include product category, quantity, declared value, shipping information, and other details required by carriers or customs authorities.

Delivery Delays Related to Taxes or Customs

If local customs, tax authorities, or carriers require additional payment or information, delivery may be delayed until the issue is resolved.

Please monitor your email, phone, tracking page, and carrier notices after shipment. Some carriers may contact the recipient directly about customs clearance, tax payment, or delivery arrangements.

Puvitox will help review available tracking information where possible, but customs decisions and local import charges are handled by the destination country and carrier network.

Taxes and Returns

Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling fees, and other import-related charges are generally non-refundable by Puvitox unless the return is caused by our error and applicable law requires otherwise.

If you return an item, you may need to contact your local customs or tax authority directly to ask whether any import tax refund process is available in your country.

Puvitox cannot guarantee that customs, VAT, or import charges will be refunded by local authorities or carriers.

Before Placing an International Order

Before placing an international order, we recommend that you check your local import policies if you are unsure whether duties, VAT, or customs fees may apply.

You may wish to check:

  • Your country’s customs duty threshold.
  • Whether VAT, GST, or sales tax applies to imported goods.
  • Whether your local carrier charges brokerage or handling fees.
  • Whether your delivery address requires special customs information.
  • Whether you need to respond to carrier messages after shipment.
